2026 Kick Off Party - Calgary

We would like to invite all Roots families to join us for a fun afternoon of fellowship,

School Photos, face painting, Games and Snacks

We ask that families would please bring either a Meat tray, Cheese and Cracker tray, Veggie Tray or Fruit Tray

We ask that all families sign up to help with either set up, tear down to make this event run smoothly

School photos have been a huge hit in the past, so we are bringing it back again this year. In order for school photos to be taken you MUST SIGN UP  for a time slot by September 16th at 9am. Only 1 student per line can have photos taken, sign up each student individually. Family photos will not be taken, do not ask at the event.

Schedule:

1:00pm arrival

1:30-5pm school photos (must sign up in advance for a time slot)

1:30-4:30pm - Face Painting

1:00-5:00pm - Games and food

5:00pm clean up

What to Bring:

• bring clothes for the appropriate weather, the event will mostly take place indoors but there is a playground that we will have access to.

• This event is only open to ROOTS families.  

• Registration deadline date:

   Wednesday September 16th at 9am

• Are younger (non-participating) siblings welcome?

  Yes the whole family is invited to attend 

• Arrival Time:

  1:00pm

• Should you no longer be able to attend, please notify Juli via email julic@rootshomeed.com or via text at 403-831-5809 by Friday September 18th at 5pm.

WAIVER

On behalf of my child, I/we hereby waive and release the Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship, The Father’s House Christian School and any Roots volunteer/facilitator/administrative staff of the Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship from any liability to my(our) children. I/We are fully aware of the risks and potential for harm involved in such events, and on behalf of our child, release from liability Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship (Roots), The Father’s House Christian School and waive any claims such minor may have as a result of an accident, mishap or negligence of the Released Party and/or and other party under or affiliated with the Released Party.

I acknowledge that I, the parent/guardian of the registered attendee/s agree to stay on site at the venue of the program, and oversee my child/ren for the duration of the program.
