Jul 27 - Prairie Winds Spraypark and Wading Pool
Aug 10 - Elsa's Tower Playground
Aug 17 - Edworthy Park Playground
Aug 24 - Nature Playground near Currie Barracks
The Summer Park Days are planned by a Roots parent volunteer and the schedule has been decided based on locations that offer something for students of all ages to participate. There are large green spaces for the older students to play sports, and playgrounds that accommodate the littles in your home. Check the map link for exact locations and amenities of each park so you can come prepared.
Just show up and have fun - registration is NOT required!
Remember to pack water, snacks and your sunscreen. Should the park day need to be cancelled, it will be posted on Roots Google Talk around 8:30am that morning. If you are not on Google Talk yet, details can be found in the Members Page of the Roots Website.
Who to Meet? Sagan will be wearing a blue sunhat and has a Blue Roots bag.
WAIVER
On behalf of my child, I/we hereby waive and release the Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship, The Father’s House Christian School and any Roots volunteer/facilitator/administrative staff of the Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship from any liability to my(our) children. I/We are fully aware of the risks and potential for harm involved in such events, and on behalf of our child, release from liability Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship (Roots), The Father’s House Christian School and waive any claims such minor may have as a result of an accident, mishap or negligence of the Released Party and/or and other party under or affiliated with the Released Party.
I acknowledge that I, the parent/guardian of the registered attendee/s agree to stay on site at the venue of the program. Parents are solely responsible for their children at the parks.
