About the Event
Gear up for an adventurous symphony concert! The newly built JC433, a curious robot, is so excited to hear the orchestra, but has a lot of questions. How does it all work? How is this big, complex sound produced? Where does the sound come from? How can music sound like machines, and what does a machine even sound like? Why would musicians want to play buzzing, crunching, beeping and booping sounds? Could a robot make music? And why do we still listen to orchestras when you can make music on a computer? Join our robot to explore the huge, people-powered, music-making machine of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra!
An engaging learning experience rooted in the beauty of a live performance at the Winspear Centre. Education Concerts introduce elementary students to the exciting world of symphonic music with the opportunity to see and hear the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra performing specially programmed concerts…
