Beyond Elementary Conference

**This event is open to Roots families only**

Patty Marler works for HSLDA in Government Relations and worked with AHEA for numerous years as the Government Liaison. We are excited to have her join us at our Beyond Elementary conference as she encourages, equips and  educates parents on homeschooling through the high school years.  

Outline for Day:

9:00-9:30:  Registration/ doors open, water, coffee & tea provided

9:30-10:00:  Worship and announcements

10:00 -11:00:   Patty Marler - The Incredible Opportunity of Homeschool Beyond Elementary

11:00-11:15:  break, light snack provided

11:15-12:00:  Patty Marler - Program Planning for Junior High and High School

12:00-1:00:  lunch break, Families bring their own lunch

1:00-1:45:  Patty Marler - Advocating for Home School Admission to Post Secondary Institutions

1:45-2:00:  break, water and coffee/ tea provided

2:00-3:00:  Panel of Roots Graduates (will share how their high school program plan was designed to prepare them for their current careers)

3:00-3:15:   closing of event

Can I bring my children?

We would encourage you to bring your students that can sit and listen to the speakers. Childcare is NOT available, nor is there space for children to play so we recommend that toddlers -grade 5 not attend. 

Things to Note:

1. Bring a bagged lunch for your family
2. There will be a Q&A opportunity at the end of each session, come prepared with your questions!
