Beyond Elementary Conference: Assurance - Edmonton

Unsure of your options for high school? Come gain ASSURANCE as you navigate the high school years and beyond.  Roots families are invited to the Beyond Elementary conference for encouragement and tools to traditional home educate students through junior and senior high school.

DETAILS

• This event is only open to Roots families only.  

• Recommended Ages: 12+ (students are encouraged to join their parents)

• Should guests bring a lunch? You have the option to bring your own lunch, order a Roots lunch, or go out for lunch (*please note that a ticket option to order a Roots lunch will be available soon*)

• Are younger (non-participating) siblings welcome? Child care is NOT provided - anyone who attends will need to sit with parents in the conference

• Arrival Time: 8:45 am

• Registration deadline date:  March 2, 2026 at 11:59 pm

Refund Policy:

• No refunds past the registration deadline of March 2, 2026

Online at a Host Home – Can’t make it in person? Then join other Roots families at a host home to watch online together (individual online access is not available).

9:15-12:00 - Speaker Sessions

12:00-12:45 - Lunch

12:45-1:30 - Speaker Sessions

1:30-2:15 - Breakout sessions

Snacks, coffee, tea and water will be provided for the morning break

TOPICS 2026

• An overview of different options (Course Challenge, Shared Responsibility, AP, CAEC etc.)

• Testimony from current Roots’ high school students

• Testimony from parents of Roots’ high school students

• Gap Year presentation by Fusion Collegiate 

WAIVER

On behalf of my child, I/we hereby waive and release the Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship, The Father’s House Christian School and any Roots volunteer/facilitator/administrative staff of the Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship from any liability to my(our) children. I/We are fully aware of the risks and potential for harm involved in such events, and on behalf of our child, release from liability Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship (Roots), The Father’s House Christian School and waive any claims such minor may have as a result of an accident, mishap or negligence of the Released Party and/or and other party under or affiliated with the Released Party.
