Bow Habitat Station Guided Fish Feeding and Discovery Center

Spend a morning at the Fish Hatchery! We will be renting some classrooms and feeding the fish. Staff will walk our group through a guided fish feeding experience. Our group can then explore the Discovery Centre and Aquariums at our own pace.

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate a discount for memberships due to the rental/program fee

DETAILS

• This event is only open to ROOTS families.  Two weeks prior to the registration deadline non-Roots families can register if tickets are still available.

• Recommended Ages:

  All ages, everyone in attendance MUST purchase a ticket.

• Registration deadline date:

   October 27

• Should guests bring lunch?

  Bring a snack. This is a half-day field trip. Belongings must be removed from the classroom(s) by the end of our scheduled time.

• Are younger (non-participating) siblings welcome?

  Yes, however they need to purchase a ticket.

• Any specific dress/attire required? Those with severe fish allergies to ‘fleshy fish’ are not recommended to enter the Fish Hatchery. Closed toed shoes are recommended but not required. Dress for the weather if you want to explore the pathways nearby.

• Arrival Time:

   Arrive by 9:15 am Depart by 12:00pm

• Refund Policy:

  No refunds past registration deadline of October 27

Park in the Pearce Estate Park Parking Lot, and walk up to the Bow Habitat Station Building. Parking is Free.  Weather permitting we will gather outside the main front entrance at the blue picnic tables, or in case of poor weather, we will gather in the Café seating area inside the main front entrance.

WAIVER

On behalf of my child, I/we hereby waive and release the Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship, The Father’s House Christian School and any Roots volunteer/facilitator/administrative staff of the Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship from any liability to my(our) children. I/We are fully aware of the risks and potential for harm involved in such events, and on behalf of our child, release from liability Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship (Roots), The Father’s House Christian School and waive any claims such minor may have as a result of an accident, mishap or negligence of the Released Party and/or and other party under or affiliated with the Released Party.

I acknowledge that I, the parent/guardian of the registered attendee/s agree to stay on site at the venue of the program, and if space allows in the classroom to oversee my child/ren for the duration of the program.  Should I not be able to stay at the venue with my child/ren, a handwritten note with my signature will be sent with my child and given to the program organizer, stating the adult who is staying on site and has agreed to be responsible for my child/ren for the duration of the program.
