Calgary May 1:15pm - 3:15pm Support Group

This months support group meeting has additional options for attendance:

1) In person with children 10am - 12pm Harvest Hills Alliance Church

2) In person with children 1pm - 3pm Harvest Hills Alliance Church

3) Evening parent only or online 7-9pm (see Calgary Evening Support Group event for registration)

We are giving God thanks for the opportunity we have to run the April support group meetings with the children in attendance!

Roots recognizes that our monthly support group meetings have been instrumental in developing the Roots community. These meetings have been highly anticipated through the years, and the relationships that have been developed through our coffee and prayer times cannot be replaced. 

In order to have as many moms & children attend while keeping within the current Covid guidelines/restrictions we have added a morning option (see Calgary Daytime Support Group event for registration).  We trust that through these options everyone will find a time that suits thier family and comfort levels.

In Person with Children 

Children of all ages are welcome to attend this meeting with their parent!

Child Care Information:

- will be required to stay with parents in the meeting room, nursery care be provided. Please bring quiet toys or activities for the young ones to play during the meeting.Babies to age 3will not

- adult supervision and age appropriate activities will be provided, clean indoor runners requiredAges 4-6

- adult supervision and active games will be provided, clean indoor runners requiredAges 7 and up

Children ages 4 and up are asked to bring a labelled water bottle to thier class (water fountains are not available). In compliance with the (page 7), children in grades 4-12 are not requried to wear a face mask while engaged in physical activity and children grades 3 & under are not routinely required to wear a face mask. Education Covid Guidance for School Re-Entry Scenario 1

Roots encourages parents to discuss with thier children proper hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette at the support group meetings. In order to limit contact and socially distance in hallways and entry points, families will be e-mailed instructions on which doors to enter the building two days prior to the meeting.   This is a private event and NOT open to public (non-Roots families) or drop ins. Only those who have RSVP'd will be allowed in the facility.
