Camp Little Red Horse Day Camp

The day will be spent learning horsemanship, riding skills, chapel time and camp games.

Location Details: Camp Little Red (16 km west of Bowden, Alberta) Please familiarize yourself with the map on the camp’s website prior to the day of workshop. GPS will direct you to the wrong location. The map is in the “Contact Us” portion of their website. camplittlered.com

There are two dates to choose from: Monday June 16th OR Monday June 23rd.

Due to the high demand of these camps we ask that families only register for ONE camp date to give more families the opportunity to join.

DETAILS

• This event is open to all homeschooling families.

• Recommended Ages:

  Ages 8 and up

• Registration deadline date:

   June 2nd for both camp dates

• Any specific dress/attire required?

  Please bring long pants for riding. Helmets and cowboy boots are provided or you can bring your own.

• Should guests bring lunch?

  Lunch is provided for participants, parents and younger siblings. Parents and siblings need to register for the free lunch. If you or your child have special dietary concerns, please bring supplementary food for yourself and your child.

• Are younger (non-participating) siblings welcome?

  YES, but must be supervised by parent at all times.  

• Arrival Time:

   9 am - 9:15 am, the program will start at 9:30am

• Refund Policy:

  no refunds past registration deadline of June 2, 2025 at midnight.

WAIVER

On behalf of my child, I/we hereby waive and release the Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship, The Father’s House Christian School and any Roots volunteer/facilitator/administrative staff of the Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship from any liability to my(our) children. I/We are fully aware of the risks and potential for harm involved in such events, and on behalf of our child, release from liability Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship (Roots), The Father’s House Christian School and waive any claims such minor may have as a result of an accident, mishap or negligence of the Released Party and/or and other party under or affiliated with the Released Party.

I acknowledge that I, the parent/guardian of the registered attendee/s agree to stay on site at the venue of the program, and if space allows in the classroom to oversee my child/ren for the duration of the program.  Should I not be able to stay at the venue with my child/ren, a handwritten note with my signature will be sent with my child and given to the program organizer, stating the adult who is staying on site and has agreed to be responsible for my child/ren for the duration of the program.
