About the Event

This workshop is aimed at middle-school and high-school aged students, and their parents to help them understand what it means to manage money from a Biblical standpoint, and to be a good steward of it. Students will be introduced to basic financial planning and budgeting considerations. Topics include banking, setting up and working a budget, and saving for future goals or starting a business. Parents will be given some pointers on how to help build good money habits in their kids,  and  to plan and save for higher education with RESPs or other alternatives.  There will be a Q and A portion during the last part of the session.

Ben  is a managing partner at Camaco Financial Group.  He serves his clients by providing comprehensive financial planning and ongoing investment advice to help them achieve their financial goals.  Ben obtained his Bachelor of Business degree from Dallas Baptist University and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Registered Financial Planner (R.F.P.), and Certified Health Specialist Insurance (CHS) designations.  He is also a member of the Institute of Advanced Financial Planners.”
