Were you interested in participating in the History Plus online program for the 2026-2027 school year?

Roots is joining the History Plus group buy program, which means that if there are a minimum of 10 students in Roots who were planning on signing up with History Plus, then we can get a $10 discount for every student. If there are a minimum of 16 students wanting to sign up then there will be a $20 savings for every student and even more savings if 26+ students want to register. The more students who participate in this the cheaper it gets for everyone!

If we can get the same number of students registered as last year, the fee will be $89.25/student (minimum of 26 students required)

What does this subscription give you access to?

• Full access to all monthly unit studies (video lessons, printable worksheets, hands-on projects, and quizzes)

• Interactive elements like discussion areas and monthly Q&A sessions

• Age-based tracks (8–11 and 12–18) so families can choose what fits best

**NEW** History Plus caps the family fee at 2 students in a household. Families with three or more students ages 8+ pay for the first two children and the other students in your home are FREE they can jump in on the classes you have registered for!

Register your child/ren to participate in this program through the Roots website. On September 15th we will let you know the discounted price, based on how many have registered, and we will email you the final cost/student which will be paid directly from your family funding account.

Registering for this event is committing to a History Plus one-year online subscription starting on

September 15, 2026- August 31, 2027 & agreeing to

a maximum fee of $115.50/student to be paid directly through your family funding.

What happens if we do not receive 10 students interested in the group buy?

Roots will notify parents that the group buy option minimums were not met, and you can register directly with History Plus  https://www.historyplusonline.com/ for the school year or you can request a purchase order from the Roots office to pay directly from your funding.

What if I already paid for a subscription at AHEA or directly though History Plus, can I still get this discount?

You will be able to access this discounted price once your current subscription is up for renewal.

What if my current subscription ends part way through the coming school year, can I access this discount?

YES, sign up through the Roots website now (which will help everyone get a cheaper rate) and your subscription will seamlessly continue for another year without you needing to do anything further once your current subscription ends.

Registration closes on September 30th for anyone who wants to join in on the group buy option (price will be set based on those registered by Sept 15th).
