Ironman Blacksmithing Level 1 Outdoor Fire Poker - Feb 24

Ironman Blacksmithing, owned by Stephen and Brenda Woodall , has been providing the services of a traditional blacksmith to the people and businesses of central Alberta for over 30 years.  Over the last 3 years, they have been hosting blacksmithing workshops at their location near Linden, AB. These workshops have been introducing blacksmithing to participants ages 12 - 70 , many of whom have come back again to continue building their skill set.

In this full day Level 1 workshop, after a brief introduction and safety talk, we will start with a practice project where the skill of SOR will be taught. We will then move on to making an outdoor fire poker. This project will teach a variety of basic blacksmithing skills such as how to round , twist, bend, flare, upset and elongate while working with a long length of steel.
