Kirk’s Alpaca Farm

Come learn all about Alpacas! Kirk’s Alpaca farm currently has 61 alpacas that you can enjoy, while learning all about them during this tour of the farm. We are hoping that having this in May, we might see some new little ones as well. They will split the students into groups, and rotate each group through the female pen, the male pen, and the playground. They will share their great knowledge of Alpaca’s, from Alpaca gestation, to how their fibres are used, to their care, etc.

• All Ages
• Roots families only.
• Please wear closed-toe shoes (rain boots if muddy) and dress appropriately for the weather, possibly extra clothes.
• Please bring a lunch. 
• Please leave pets at home. The Alpacas get nervous around strange animals.
• No running in fields, or chasing the Alpacas. Please follow farm safety!!
• If you have allergies, please bring your own medications - it is a farm with hay, grass, and animals.

Waiver

By registering for the Roots field trip, I understand that TFH society and its branches Roots Home Education/The Father’s House Christian School, at all organizational levels, will not be held responsible for accidents, injury, loss or damage to an individual or any individual’s property. I agree the applicant/s are in good health and able to participate in the physical activity of this program. In the event the applicant is injured, I give permission for a staff member or parent volunteer to seek medical attention.
