Kiwanis Safety City (Edmonton)

The first 30 minutes are spent in a classroom where the kids will talk about safely crossing the road, traffic lights, and traffic signs. They will then get to spend 60 minutes in safety city practicing crossing the road safely, answering questions around Safety City, and driving battery operated quads in Safety City with the working traffic lights and street signs.

• Registration deadline:  Tuesday, October 18, 2022
• Recommended Ages: 4-8 years old
• Only open to Roots families 
• Arrival Time: Prior to 1:00 p.m.
• Should guests bring lunch? No
• Are younger (non-participating) siblings welcome? YES! There is no limit on younger/older siblings who would like to come along and watch. 

Dress

Every participating child MUST bring a bicycle helmet in order to drive the quads. Dress for the weather, event will happen rain or shine (will be cancelled or postponed if thunder/lightning/blizzard)

Refunds

• No refunds past the registration deadline date unless the fieldtrip needs to be cancelled by Roots, then a full refund will be given.
