About the Event

Rae Wynn-Grant is a scientist with National Geographic Society’s Last Wild Places Initiative. She works to protect and restore iconic wildlife populations, including North American black and grizzly bears. But when the wild lands of their habitat are crisscrossed by roads, fences, and ranches, how can bears and humans coexist peacefully? Dr. Wynn-Grant intends to find the answer. Themes: ecosystems, wildlife, STEM, exploration.

  • Please Arrive by 9:45. We must go in as one group. Please look for me (Tanis) holding the Roots sign inside the first set of doors at the Jack Singer Concert Hall
  • Duration: Approximately 45 minutes in duration with a question period afterwards that is about 10 minutes long
  • No Food or drink is permitted inside the theater
  • No Refunds
  • Suggested Grades: 3-12  (Grades 1 – 2 are welcome, but the venue suggests grades 3 – 12)
  • No younger siblings, please
