Online Support Group Meeting

This will be like no other support group meeting in the history of Roots. We will be connecting through an online platform to have this support group meeting and hope that you can join us. It would be great to see some families join in that have never been able to join before due to distance. 

We hope that you can join us, it will be a great time together!

What is the topic about? As the title states, lets Reconnect with one another (we will have opporunity for small group discussion & prayer together), Reflect on this past year & where we are currently at, finally we will Reset as we look forward to the coming year and what that looks like.  

What will happen? We are going to try to keep the format similar to our regular support group meetings, but in a condensed version of 1 hour. We will have some announcements, a devotional, share the topic & then break into small group prayer time.  

Who can attend? All Roots families across Alberta can join in. It would be great to see some new faces as well as reconnect with others. If you are a newly registered family for the 2020/2021 school year, you are welcome to join in too.

How do we attend? You will need to register for a free ticket. The morning of the meeting you will receive a link to join, which will be hosted on BlueJeans platform.  

Will we need to download any software before the meeting? No, just click the link that will be provided to you on June 12th and you can join.

Do I need to have a web cam to participate? No, but we would love to see your face if you do have a webcam! You will have the option to join via audio only  before "entering" the meeting too.

If I cannot join the meeting will there be a way to watch at a later date? Yes we will be recording the announcements, devotional & topic disucssion time, which will be uploaded to the members page on the Roots website within a day or two after the support group meeting. Note that the small group prayer time is NOT being recorded.
