About the Event
Description:
October 5th Grades 1-4
- Grades 1-4: LEGO + LETTERPRESS WORKSHOP. USING LEGO TILES AND A CENTURY OLD PRESS, GROUPS OF UP TO 4 MINI-PRINTMAKERS WILL GET AN INTRODUCTION TO THE LETTERPRESS PROCESS USING LEGO AND THEIR IMAGINATIONS. COLLABORATE ON A GROUP PRINT AS WELL AS INDIVIDUAL 5X5” PRINTS THAT YOU WILL TAKE HOME WITH YOU, ALL HAND PRINTED ON ANTIQUE PRESSES.
October 12th Grades 5+
- Grades 5+-USING LINOCUT AND A CENTURY OLD PRESS, GROUPS OF UP TO 4 MINI-PRINTMAKERS WILL GET AN INTRODUCTION TO THE LETTERPRESS PROCESS. COLLABORATE ON A GROUP PRINT AS WELL AS INDIVIDUAL 5X5” PRINTS THAT YOU WILL TAKE HOME WITH YOU, ALL HAND PRINTED ON ANTIQUE PRESSES.

Roots registered students in grades 1-12 can use the following coupon code PRINT22 if they would like to pay direclty from family funding for this event.
Details
- Registration Deadline is September 27, 2022
- Recommended Ages: 6+
- Please arrive by 9:25am for attendance and to get settled.
- Minimum of 3 students in each class in order to run this program.
- No refunds after registration deadline unless we do not meet the minimum numbers to run this program then a full refund will be given.
