About the Event

Come enjoy a day of horsemanship, horseback riding, archery, a Mega Slide, and other outdoor fun at Rivers Edge Camp! Students will be taught horsemanship skills, and will be able to participate in either an arena lesson (ages 8+) or a trail ride lesson (ages 10+). Students will spend about an hour in the saddle as well as a session learning proper horsemanship and care of the animal. There will also be an archery portion and a fun 300ft Mega Slide water activity (like a huge slip-n-slide on mats)!

In addition to these activities, students will be given a free period to enjoy the other outdoor activities the camp has to offer, including frisbee golf, racquetball, basketball, volleyball, a large park, and various lawn games.

Younger non-participating siblings and parents are also welcome to enjoy these extra activities, and there’s a sandbox for little ones to enjoy and an indoor nursery for moms with babies to utilize.

Should be a wonderful day of outdoor fun for the whole family!

In order to comply with our agreement with Mountain View County, please DO NOT use Township Road 300.

Please follow the directions below:

From Highway 22:

● Turn west on secondary highway #579.

● Go 5 km and turn north (right) on range road 50.

● Go 3 km and turn west (left) onto township road 295A.

● Go 1 km and turn at your first right
