Speed Puzzling Competition- Calgary

Get ready for a night of fun, friendly competition, and teamwork! Join together to compete in a team competition of puzzling.  

You will be doing a 500 pc Ravensburger puzzle which you will get to keep.

Whether you’re a puzzling pro or just in it for the laughs, this will be a

great evening of connection and fun.

Come ready to puzzle fast! 

Time limit: 90 min to finish your puzzle

      Who: Teams of two

                 Cost  : $40/team

We will conclude the competition after 90 min of puzzling (or when everyone is completed, whichever comes first)

You will be given one 6 ft table and two chairs per team.

You may not bring anything with you (eg trays)  I will provide you with everything you need.  

Tips:

-wear comfortable clothes, layers 

-tie long hair back

-don't wear long sleeves, they get in the way

-don't drink lots beforehand ;) bring a drink in a closed container if you would like

-practice flipping pieces, sorting and actually doing puzzles (small ones are best)

-strategize together

  12+

• Are younger (non-participating) siblings welcome?

  No, although older spectators are welcome (spectators must be quiet during competition)

• Arrival Time:

   6:30pm

• What is the minimum number of attendees to run the event?

  Min 10 people (5 teams), max 20 ( 10 teams)

• Refund Policy:

  No refunds past registration deadline of March 23, 2026

WAIVER

On behalf of my child, I/we hereby waive and release the Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship, The Father’s House Christian School and any Roots volunteer/facilitator/administrative staff of the Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship from any liability to my(our) children. I/We are fully aware of the risks and potential for harm involved in such events, and on behalf of our child, release from liability Roots Christian Home Education Fellowship (Roots), The Father’s House Christian School and waive any claims such minor may have as a result of an accident, mishap or negligence of the Released Party and/or and other party under or affiliated with the Released Party.

I acknowledge that I, the parent/guardian of the registered attendee/s agree to stay on site at the venue of the program, and if space allows in the classroom to oversee my child/ren for the duration of the program.  Should I not be able to stay at the venue with my child/ren, a handwritten note with my signature will be sent with my child and given to the program organizer, stating the adult who is staying on site and has agreed to be responsible for my child/ren for the duration of the program.
