About the Event

Why Worldview Education?

“The Christian community frequently instructs children in Christian principles and morals without equipping them to think critically through the big life questions that every worldview must answer. In a sense, Christians train their children to accept Christianity on blind faith. Research demonstrates that this current model is not preparing children to be life-long disciples. It is time to change the gameplan”. Quote from https://foundationworldview.com/

What is Truth? What Should I Worship? How Did Life Begin? Who Am I? & How Can I Tell Right from Wrong? These are all questions that need answers & these answers set the foundation for a person’s worldview. Come join a cohort as families explore these questions and discover answers from a Biblical worldview.

When & Time: This will be determined by each cohort

Where: Currently we have 3 cohorts Edmonton, Airdrie & Chestermere but we can open more if there is enough interest.

Airdrie Cohort - Will be meeting on fridays at 1:30pm this Cohort is full but we can open another group if there is enough interest.

Edmonton Cohort - Will be meeting on Wednesdays at 1-2:30 to coincide with the Grades 7-12 class Location is to be determined yet.

Chestermere Cohort - this group is currently full, but if we have others who want to start a new group in the area, we are happy to coordinate that.

How does a cohort class work? This is a combined effort by the families that attend. One family can plan the activity, one can lead discussion time, the key is that everyone chips in what they can to help!

What will take place? This material includes a teaching video, suggested activities, worksheets & tests which are all supplied.

Cost: $38/student grades 1-7 OR $110/family (to pay from Roots family funding use the coupon code WV1-7). Each family will be provided with take home sheets.
