Petition to Defund Independent Schools

In light of the petition to defund independent schools, many Roots members have requested information to dispel some of the rumours. AISCA’s website contains videos and quick facts. You can access information here as well and share this video. We will pick up and disperse physical brochures as soon as they are available. Please use these to educate yourself. You only need one or two facts and usually it is the financial one that has the greatest impact. 

Note: Verbage has changed in recent legislation, ‘private' has been replaced with ‘independent’ schools.

Other ways you can make a difference is to contact your local MLA or the Minister of Education and Childcare. Share how being a part of an independent school was a positive decision for your family. Most of all, pray for your community, MLA's and those affected.
